Telemental Health Video Toolkit

June 25, 2015

Getting clinicians comfortable working by video seems to be a common issue that arises in telemedicine programs. In this webinar, Dr. Jonathan Neufeld, a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working by video, will present some basic guidelines for transferring clinical skills into the world of video. Dr. Neufeld will also introduce the new Telemental Health Video Toolkit recently produced through a joint effort of NRTRC and UMTRC. This toolkit can help not only mental health practitioners, but anyone interested in maximizing clinical effectiveness over video.

Presentation by: Jonathan Neufeld, Phd, HSPP

Jonathan Neufeld, PhD, HSPP, is Clinical Director of the Upper Midwest Telehealth Resource Center (UMTRC). The UMTRC is a consortium of telehealth providers spread across Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan whose purpose is to promote and support telehealth programs in their respective states. The consortium is led by the Indiana Rural Health Association, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to improving the health and health care of rural Hoosiers. The UMTRC receives funding from the federal Office for the Advancement of Telehealth (an office in the Department of Health and Human Services) to provide technical assistance to telehealth programs across the Upper Midwest region, leveraging the diverse resources of its consortium members to improve access to healthcare services in underserved areas.
