The smiles are still here and I even saw one of the same patients from a year ago-what are the odds?  The technology the medical center has acquired through grants and ingenuity is astounding! In 1 year alone they earned a grant to get digital radiology and the films- well, there's no actual film anymore-the pictures are zapped to Oregon for almost instant readings day or night-that makes my worry over wet-reads a thing of the past, AND they are implementing Electronic Medical Records just like we are!
